Soft Drinks (Satans' Syrup)

Soft Drinks (Satans' Syrup)

Some shocking statistics:

The average American drinks an estimated 56 gallons of soft drinks each year
One can of soda has about 10 teaspoons of sugar, 150 calories, 30 to 55 mg of caffeine, and is loaded with artificial food colors and sulphites.
Soda accounts for more than one-quarter of all drinks consumed in the United States.
In the past 10 years, soft drink consumption among children has almost doubled in the United States. Teenage boys now drink, on average, three or more cans of soda per day, and 10 percent drink seven or more cans a day.
The average for teenage girls is more than two cans of soda a day, and 10 percent drink more than five cans a day. 80
What’s wrong with soft drinks? Just about everything. First, they are loaded with sweeteners—usually high fructose corn syrup—or sugar substitutes, notable aspartame. (We have already discussed the negative effects of refined sugar on every organ and system in the body.) The sugar in soda pop is nothing but naked calories and acts as an anti-nutrient. Sugar in soft drinks accounts for 35 percent of all U.S. sugar consumption, and more than any other source, contributes to what has become a national addiction to sweet foods of all kinds.

Seems like a no brainer for me, but people are still drinking like maybe they want to die.
This information comes to you from my new study material, The Biblical Health Institute.

Raw Honey

Raw Honey

Raw honey is the preferred sweetener (raw meaning it has not been heated over 117 degrees and is loaded with amylases, enzymes that digest carbohydrates.) Honey is one of the most powerful healing foods we have at our disposal. Generations of grandmothers prepared hot honey drinks to soothe sore throats, calm nerves, and ensure a good night’s sleep. Raw honey wipes out bacteria that cause diarrhea and honey may eliminate such disease-causing bacteria as salmonella, Shigella, E. coli, and cholera.

Unheated honey contains 18 amino acids. Proline is the most highly concentrated amino acid in honey and is the primary component in collagen (the main structure in bone). Two forms of calcium and eleven other valuable minerals are found in honey. It has the ability to permeate cell membranes and is a natural antibiotic. Always look for high-quality honey produced locally and sold in its raw and unheated form‚ this preserves its rich storehouse of naturally occurring enzymes and bee pollen.

An Article About The American Diet

An Article About The American Diet

by Mary G. Enig, Ph.D.
The McGovern Committee Senate Hearings, held in the 1970s, grew out of the ideas for developing nutrition policy that were put forth at the 1969 White House Conference on Foods and Nutrition. Some of the recommendations that came out of the White House conference were orchestrated by lawyers and lobbyists from the food industry. The McGovern Committee originally planned to hold hearings on heart disease and diet, but evidently changed to hearings on all the “killer diseases” and their nutritional causes, although the major emphasis still came from the National Heart and Lung Institute (as it was called at that time) and the American Heart Association, with much testimony orchestrated by the American Health Foundation. Behind the scenes, the edible oil industry and the Grocery Manufacturers of America played a major role in lobbying efforts.

The McGovern Select Committee heard erroneous testimony from various research “scientists,” most of whom had particular biases against animal fat and meat. For example, Dr. Gio B. Gori from the National Cancer Institute and Dr. David M. Hegsted from Harvard School of Public Health testified that there was “a direct relationship between dietary intake and forms of cancer and that it was their recommendation that Americans should cut down on the amount of food they eat, and specifically, eat less meat and fats” (Congressional Record 9/16/76 p S15993-4). The animal fat and cancer connection was first introduced by Dr. Ernst Wynder from the American Health Foundation using processed vegetable fat data mistakenly labeled animal fat. Colon cancer was also tied to beef in an erroneous interpretation of the National Cancer Institute Japanese-Hawaiian study which actually showed macaroni, green beans and peas to have higher risk associated with colon cancer than beef or lamb.1

Committee members ignored testimony debunking the anti-animal fat agenda even though the testimony defending meat and animal fat was supported by science and came from highly qualified researchers. The meat and dairy lobbies were very ineffective in defending their products.

The Select Committee produced a report that called for the decrease in consumption of animal fat, dairy fat and eggs. If you decrease the amount of fat in the diet, something has to increase to take its place and that something was to be the carbohydrates.

Once mandated, no government employee or government-funded researcher could contradict the US Dietary Goals. All the research from that point on had to be geared to creating educational material to match the US Dietary Goals and to produce a science to support them. If a researcher wanted another grant, the results he or she came up with would have to fit the guidelines.

Even though these goals/guidelines originally had no science to back them up, and still have no clear science to support them, they have become the law of the land.

Thus the Senate, with the help of the food industry and the complicity of a major part of the nutrition community, came up with a low-fat, high-carbohydrate Rx that produced profound changes in the way Americans ate. Vegetable oil and carbohydrate (mostly refined carbohydrate) calories replaced animal fat calories resulting in massive obesity in the populace. The US government is now proposing more of the same to combat. . . the massive obesity epidemic among Americans!

Sugars

Sugars

I want to say that sugars are a dangerous additive, your body does not know what to do with the refined white powder. I want you to know that you be very careful because the way you eat sugar and its imposter’s will dictate the way your body digests food and water. Here is a link for an article that I think is pretty accurate http://www.NaturalNews.com/023085.html

I feel that with all the things that sugar is in you need to watch your labels and stay away from them in your food. Its just not need now or ever.

Shocking Facts About the Pharmaceutical Industry

Shocking Facts About the Pharmaceutical Industry

I thought you might like to know this if you don’t already. This is one of the many reasons I will never vaccinated again.

Big drug companies have been accused of putting profits above patients, spinning false PR campaigns and more. Here are some of the most shocking facts about the pharmaceutical industry.

The price of drugs is increasing faster than anything else a patient pays for: The prices of the most heavily prescribed drugs are routinely jacked up, sometimes several times a year. Some medications have a mark-up of 1,000 percent over the cost of their ingredients.

Your doctor may have an ulterior motive behind your prescription: Drug reps often give gifts to convince doctors to prescribe the medications that they represent. These drug reps usually have no medical or science education.

Pharmaceutical companies spend more on marketing than research: Almost twice as much!

Guilty of Medicare fraud: Pharmaceutical companies are being tried in federal courts as a result of their exploitation of Medicare. AstraZeneca had to pay more than $340 million in penalties for coaching doctors to cheat Medicare.

The combined wealth of the top 5 pharmaceutical companies outweigh GNP of sub-Saharan Africa: In fact, the combined worth of the world’s top five drug companies is twice the combined GNP of that entire region.

Americans pay more for prescription meds than anyone else in the world: $200 billion in 2002 alone.

“New” Drugs aren’t really new: Two-thirds of ‚Äúnew‚Äù prescription drugs are identical to existing drugs or modified versions of them.

Drug companies are taking advantage of underdeveloped countries to perform clinical trials: In developing countries, government oversight is more lax.

You should have at least 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night. The consequences for ignoring this advice will surprise you.

Something that you might not have thought of is you ability to heal. This function is greatly accelerated with ample amounts of rest. Another thing is muscle repair if you have a sprain the doctors will tell you to stay off of it well the reasons are for rest nothing really can heal like rest.
Remember this when you have a headache even though it is probably brought on by caffeine or refined sugar. You can almost always make it better by sleeping.
If you can workout and have a good rest afterwards you will put less stress on the body and eventually have more energy in return. Chronic fatiuge is what happens when people go and go without any regard for their bodies.

Just something to think about. Happy sleeping!

Learning About Body Core Conditioning

Learning About Body Core Conditioning

Her is an article that mirror my thoughts on core exercises and their benefits.

By Nicky Pilkington
You rely on your body to get get out of bed, to lift your children, to perform your job and to take you places everyday. If you appreciate what your body does for you, you will provide it with nutritious food, hydrate with water and be sure to add some activity into your day.

While our limbs provide mobility, reach and strength it is our body core that provides the basis of each movement. Sedentary lives can cause our body core muscles to weaken and become subject to strain or injury. Even if you workout or participate in sports you may not be working the body core muscles you rely on to perform.

WHAT IS MY BODY ‘CORE’?

Your body core is the midsection of your body, from your groin to your shoulders. The core includes the pelvis, abs, back and chest muscles. It is this core that offers stability, balance and flexibility. Every movement you make originates in the core – whether you are reaching for your toothbrush or running a marathon. If the core is not properly conditioned it will limit your physical abilities.

Working the muscles in your body core will improve the effectiveness of movements in your limbs. Most exercise routines focus on building muscle. By creating a stable, strong base for those muscles you can optimize the strength and flexibility of each limb.

HOW DO I STRENGTHEN MY BODY CORE?

There are many exercise routines and products that work the muscles of the body core. Professional trainers create customized routines to enhance an athlete’s abilities by developing the proper core muscles. However, there are also many programs developed for individuals who wish to incorporate it into their fitness routine or to begin one.

The exercises and products developed to strengthen your body core do so by creating resistance or instability so that the core muscles must respond to maintain balance. The exercises are gentle on the body but are intense and beginners will quickly ‘feel’ the muscles being used. Proper alignment is key so having a trainer to check your position will help identify the safest and most effective way to perform an exercise.

Body core exercises often imitate moves that we employ in daily life or sports and thus train the body to rely on the core and reduce the strain we put on our limbs. Two popular forms of exercise that develop core body strength are Pilates and the Swiss ball.

Pilates uses the body as its own form of resistance. Learning to breath properly and perform slow, controlled movements allows a person to isolate and strengthen core muscles.

The Swiss ball (also known as a Fitness ball) is an easy and fun way to strengthen the body core. While there are many exercises that can be performed with the Swiss ball, simply sitting on it will create the instability needed to engage the core muscles to maintain balance.

Good core strength is important at every age and fitness level. Whatever your goals, find a way to incorporate body core conditioning into your routine to reduce fatigue, avoid muscle strain and improve your strength and mobility.

Kefir In All Of Its Wonder

Kefir In All Of Its Wonder

We love our Kefir and drink in our shakes every morning now for the past 4 years. The difference I feel when I don’t get mine is a lot like some of you going without coffee. It is a great starting food for your stomach in the morning as well because it is so easy to digest. Here is a summary of the health benefit that can be found when consumed on a regular basis.

Easily digested, it cleanses the intestines, provides beneficial bacteria and yeast, vitamins and minerals, and complete proteins. Because kefir is such a balanced and nourishing food, it help construct a healthy immune system and has been used to help patients suffering from AIDS, chronic fatigue syndrome, flu, nuemonia, herpes, and cancer. Its tranquilizing effect on the nervous system has benefited many who suffer from heart burn, acid reflux, sleep disorders, depression, and ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).

The regular use of kefir can help relieve all intestinal disorders, promote bowel movement, reduce flatulence and create a healthier digestive system. In addition, its cleansing effect on the whole body helps to establish a balanced inner ecosystem for optimum health and longevity. Much like a natural detox of the whole digestive system.
